10/6/24 - HES PTO Presents: "The Wild Robot" Private Screening
Come celebrate Hopewell Elementary School’s own Peter Brown, as his novel "The Wild Robot" is released as a feature film.
Join the HES PTO for a private movie screening of The Wild Robot on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Hillsborough Cinemas (Hillsborough, NJ).
"Shipwrecked on a deserted island, a robot named ROZ must learn to adapt to its new surroundings. Building relationships with the native animals, Roz soon develops a parental bond with an orphaned gosling." The Wild Robot novel, which this feature film is based on, is typically covered in the HES 3rd grade curriculum.
Tickets MUST be pre-purchased through the PTO (there is no option to purchase tickets at the theater)
$10 per ticket (20% of all ticket sales and concessions benefit the HES PTO)

10/25 - Kindergarten & 1st Grade Monster Mash
Let's Get Spooky
We invite our Kindergarten and 1st Graders (and their families) for a Halloween Monster Mash! This *new* event will be held on Oct 25th, from 6-7:30 at HES (enter at cafeteria doors) and proceeds will benefit the HES PTO
Tickets are $20 per family
Families must have a student in either K or 1st grade to attend. Each child must be accompanied by at least one guardian during the entire event. Siblings are permitted to attend (if needed), but please keep in mind this event will be loud and dark, when deciding to bring younger siblings.
Please have the students attending wear a Halloween costume for lots of themed fun! We will have DJ Gabe as well as games and crafts.
